As part of Ascot’s commitment to supporting charities within the horse racing industry, a record £38,440 was raised in 2023 for the Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF) via our Ambassador’s programme which sees ex-jockeys provide an informative talk and tour for fine dining guests in return for donations.
Since being established in 2017, the programme has raised over £167,000 for the charity and we will be making a cheque presentation to the charity on our January raceday.
A big thank you to our ambassadors, who this year will be ex-jockeys David Crosse, Conor Shoemark, Mattie Batchelor, Daryl Jacob, Ryan Tongue & William Kennedy.

Through our nationwide welfare team, three rehabilitation & fitness centres and Southwest regional hub we provide a comprehensive service provision including, rehabilitation, injury management, physiotherapy, nutrition, mental wellbeing, financial and pastoral care.
